Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Planning – Meals Materials is responsible for managing material supply for contract manufacturing production.  This includes working with co mans to manage material needs to support production plans, resolving supply issues with Eagle suppliers to co mans, managing material changes and updates for innovation, managing material obsolescence/quality issues and disposition, releasing all material needs in M3 for co man production, approving material invoices and managing book to book reconciliation daily/weekly with co mans.  Additionally, this person will support finance and supply planning on variance management.

 

Essential Functions

  • Partner with co mans and production scheduling (Eagle and co man) to identify Eagle supplied material needs for both short term and longer term production
  • Transact in M3 to support blanket PO releases and orders for Eagle supplied materials used for co man production
  • Process/confirm EDI transactions for material receipts and inventory adjustments at co mans and investigate transactions of concern
  • Monitor inventory levels and deliveries of needed materials for production
  • Partner with suppliers and co man personnel to resolve supply issues (quantity, on time) quality issues and space planning needs/issues at co mans and suppliers
  • Manage material returns and credits between co mans and suppliers
  • Develop and manage book to book inventory reconciliation process for Eagle owned materials at all co mans. Compile results and work variance resolution, including identifying when the co man is responsible for excess loss/variance
  • Support the purchasing team and finance/accounts payable in invoice approval for Eagle supplied raw and pack materials at co mans
  • Track and manage inventory obsolescence for raw and pack materials at co mans. Investigate and drive accountability where the co man or supplier are liable.  Arrange disposition for all obsolete material.
  • Manage material change in coordination with co mans, Eagle planning and scheduling, R&D and the innovation PMO for new packaging, new product launches and any other innovation or change.
  • Prepare and manage the supply of finished goods and materials for Hamburger Helper MW Cups. Deploy inventory based on demand, seasonal inventory builds, and safety stock to best service our customers.
  • Assist in putting together long-term plans to support the monthly Supply Review and providing info for monthly Supply Chain Results
  • Perform other functions as requested by your manager

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-5 years work experience in supply chain/logistics
  • Knowledge of plant operations and production scheduling
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University or equivalent experience
  • ERP / MRP experience
  • Proficient in excel
  • Display strong technical, interpersonal and analytical skills

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing tasks and responsibilities of the job.

The employee works in causal laboratory environment. The employee is expected to walk within the plant which requires personal protective equipment to be worn. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

 

Protective Equipment: When in the plant, employees must wear personal protective equipment, as required, which could include an assigned work uniform, hair and beard net, safety glasses, designated shoes, and ear protection.

 

Additional equipment may be required to follow all safety rules and procedures by working safely and ensuring the safety of others.
