Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) within Eagle Foods 's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role involves ensuring the smooth integration, continuous improvement, and functionality of the ERP system, providing training and support to warehouse personnel, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that the system is used effectively to optimize inventory, operations, and logistics processes.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and daily operations of the ERP system in the warehouse.

• Work with IT teams to ensure system integration with other departments.

• Train company warehousing staff on the use of the ERP system, ensuring they understand and follow best practices.

• Provide ongoing support to staff regarding system issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly.

• Maintain accurate data in the ERP system, including inventory levels, order statuses, and shipping information.

• Own cycle counting and other inventory control processes for the warehouse and in some instances more broadly across the organization. (example: customer return transactions).

• Ensure that all transactions (e.g., inventory receipts, shipments, and stock movements) are accurately captured in the ERP system.

• Act as the primary contact for resolving ERP issues related to warehouse functions.

• Continuously monitor system data and warehouse performance, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies that can be addressed through the ERP system.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications & Competencies

• A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• 1-3 years working an ERP system.

• Proven experience working as a Warehouse ERP Superuser or in a similar role within warehouse management or logistics.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
