Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Sales Pricing and Promotion Manager creates & protects value by unlocking the incrementality and ROI of our pricing, promotional investment with customers along with administration & governance of the Trade Fund Management System.

This role owns providing analytics & insights for our trade Investment improvement for field sales with customers, and is responsible for accurate & timely inputs into the Trade Funds Management System.  This person should provide actionable insights of business risk to trade funds spending and lead the development & deployment of trade architecture & budget allocation with customers.  This role is ultimately responsible for the management of the Trade Funds Management System and reporting.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Partners with the broader Commercial Strategy Team to align & develop effective go-to-market strategies & tactics with customers
  2. Identifies and reconciles Trade Funds YTD & YTG gaps between planned versus actual as input into the financial forecast
  3. Works closely with field sales to provide analysis & insights (in top customers and tentpoles) of pricing & promotion strategies/tactics to help achieve the annual plan & KPIs
  4. Serves as a trusted advisor to field sales quantifying the financial impact of discounts & trade investment with customers
  5. Actively participates in the quarterly review process with field sales to achieve the annual plan & KPIs
  6. Provides end to end Trade Funds Management support for Sales, Commercial Strategy & Senior Management to accurately assess current state & what actions we need to realize annual plan achievement
  7. Provides ongoing analysis & insights to support the Commercial Strategy & Sales Teams
  8. Educates the Sales Organization on Trade Funds Management concepts & principles to enable better decision making both internally & with customers
  9. Leads the development & deployment of a fair & equitable Trade Program Architecture & budget allocation for Eagle Family Foods with customers
  10. Serves as a liaison for Sales to the Finance Team

Qualifications

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong pricing promotion analytics and RGM, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation abilities
  • Skilled in syndicated data, consumer trends, and trade tools (TPM, forecasting software)

 

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required

 

Experience

  • 5–8 years in sales, financial planning and analysis, or revenue growth management
  • Background in large CPG or private equity-backed companies preferred

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build senior-level trade relationships
  • Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset
