Responsibilities

  • Review appropriate production schedules for the line to ensure correct equipment (fryer, popper, extruder, rotor, etc.) setups have been made and appropriate raw material are present for efficient productivity
  • Responsible to maintain all British Retail Consortium (BRC) initiatives including Food Safety, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Defense, Allergens, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) within the plant
  • Review appropriate production schedules for the line to ensure correct equipment setups have been made and appropriate raw material are present for efficient productivity
  • Monitor all product in process and or finished to be packed to ensure best quality standards are being met with the control/retains out in the operation.
  • Make sure all materials are properly counted, weighed and labeled with correct label information
  • Oversee efficient and safe operation of all equipment in the line
  • Ensure that all partial pallets, bags, containers, etc. are available and accessible as well as having proper documentation such as part number, weights, expiration dates etc
  • Report to supervisor equipment malfunctions, so that they can ultimately be reported to maintenance
  • Ensure that all raw materials are correct and meet all the customer and Eagle Foods specifications
  • Ensure adequate housekeeping throughout the day

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred
