Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator is responsible for tracking the movement of finished goods, raw materials, packaging, and WIP. The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator ensures that inventory and stock are accurate. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures and performs internal inventory audits as needed. The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator will partner with support functions to identify and resolve unplanned downtime events, quality, safety, cost, and other losses attributed to the area, using problem-solving techniques and a continuous improvement mindset.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all required paperwork and processes for accurate reporting of issues and corrections in inventory
  • Perform inventory adjustments in the database and ERP system as needed
  • Maintain inventory reports according to the Company’s standard documentation and archiving procedures
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding products and inventories
  • Analyze and troubleshoot inventory control problems as requested
  • Prepare and submit weekly inventory control reports to Warehouse leadership
  • Perform administrative tasks including answering phone, taking messages, operating printers, and monitoring emails as needed
  • Review FG past the 48-hour limit at plant
  • Review, report, and collaborate with Packaging on live consumption status
  • Inspect incoming materials at Eagle Foods and local 3PL partner
  • Review, address, and escalate any OSD receipts
  • Monitor FEFO, FIFO execution in material consumption and escalate.
  • Own Waste materials recycling program (Cans, lids, corrugated, etc...). To include FG for destruction
  • Participate and support SQF audit requirements and audit activities related to materials. (Finished Goods Tracing).
  • Audit all Logistics Documents for accuracy
  • Own the archive room, adhere to and uphold document retention policy
  • Able to drive a forklift, support plant warehouse operations and material movements when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications & Competencies

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of inventory work experience, preferably in a manufacturing/warehousing setting
  • Requires computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Infor is a plus
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills (lead through influence)
  • Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be flexible with work scheduling
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in support of Plant Operations.
